Commercial League Global Pharma Center was granted a class “A” investment certificate by the InvestBulgaria Agency – directly reporting to the Bulgarian Ministry of Economics. The project envisages the expansion of the existing Heart and Brain Center of Excellence in Pleven by building a new hospital wing for oncological diseases. The capacity of the already existing clinics and departments will be additionally increased while preserving the current structure. Furthermore, the investor plans to build a student campus offering excellent conditions for study and accommodation for students at the Medical University of Pleven who are specializing at the Heart and Brain Hospital. A state-of-the-art rehabilitation and care center as well as a small hotel for relatives and patients will be constructed. The implementation of the investment project, while creating new jobs, will also have a strong focus on scientific research in the field of human medicine. Takvor Boghossian, CEO of Commercial League-Global Pharma Centre, was granted the class “A” investments certificate for construction of “Heart and Brain” multiprofile centre of excellence for active treatment in the city of Burgas. The project was praised personally by the vice-minister of Economics Lachezar Borissov at the special ceremony. The centre is projected to be completed by 2023 and consist of a medical centre, pharmacy and a multiprofile hospital for active treatment with 13 departments, providing over 270 hospital beds. Furthermore, the investment project will create over 200 jobs and promote scientific research and development in the areas of human medicine. Scientific research are a long-term priority for Commercial League. Significant expansions are envisaged in an ample range of therapeutic fields including studies of human gene through diagnostic and clinic examination of owned original combo products for treatment of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, etc. The ceremony was attended by Stamen Yanev – director of the Bulgarian Agency of Investments and Antoaneta Bares – director of National Company Industrial Zones. Prime-minister Borissov noted the positive tendency of growth in the number and scale of the projects realised in the country by both foreign and local companies – evidence of favorable business climate. The 50th edition of the World Economic Forum starts today. Diplomatic dialogue on the Western Balkans Session, WEF AM 2020 Today begins the 50th anniversary edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The main focus this years is on ESG – ecological social governance. In this context, thanks to its sterile manufacturing, own water supply, energy saving equipment, energy reduction technologies and gasification project for its plans, Tchaikapharma manages to qualify amongst the scarce number of pharmaceutical producers with negative environmental footprint. The “Diplomatic dialogue on the Western Balkans” session will be held this morning.
