The only Bulgarian who has been able to call himself successful entrepreneur recently discussed why it is so important to be responsible when it comes to finance. In a candid interview he stated that having business that encompasses great part of Bulgarian pharmaceutical market has led to lots of responsibilities worldwide. His recent participation in the World Economic Forum and his close relations with leading world leaders has given Mr.Kamenov another perspective of world economy. He gladly shared his thoughts on how our country has been managing its place in world of trade and changing political models. Even abroad he has been working for the prosperity of his own country. Bulgaria has become extremely appealing business destination in recent years and Mr.Kamenov further discussed that by pointing out that he himself managed to set up a major company 20 years ago. However there have been many difficulties on the road and it took him a while to establish good reputation. Another important point was that people in Bulgaria have not been able to fulfill their business goals properly. He took pride in the fact that Commercial League employees are highly-educated people as himself. Commercial League started out as a really small business venture, eventually turning into the greatest pharmaceutical supplier in Bulgaria. Mr.Kamenov also stated that being rich in Bulgaria puts heavy burden on people who work hard to be successful. Mr.Kamenov continued by saying that Bulgaria could use far better its potential in becoming more prosperous. He personally contributed by keeping his business national asset and by building modern hospitals. Mr.Kamenov expressed his desire to continue discussing the topic in near future. 06 Feb Tihomir Kamenov’s memorable participation in Eastern Balkans convention
The President of Commercial League took part in a historic high summit meeting regarding the Advancement of long-term development of Eastern Balkans. This has been the only assembly organized for prime-ministers for the last seven years. Among the discussed issues were immigration,socioeconomic problems and how Balkan states should improve their long-term partnership in order to assert the security and stability in the region. Prominent people who took part in the discussion were Jeffrey Feltman (UN under secretary for political affairs), Johannes Hahn who served as European commissioner for European neighbourhood policy and enlargement negotiations, Dushko Markovic – the prime minster of Montenegro, Andrej Plenkovic – the prime minister of Croatia, Edi Rama the prime-minister of Albania, Hashim Thaci the president of Kosovo, Aleksandar Vucic the president of Republic of Serbia, Zoran Zaev the prime minister of Macedonia and the Bulgarian prime minister Boyko Borisov. The meeting was confined by Tihomir Kamenov who outlined “Everyone has to love their country and our country is called Europe. Balkans are united both in economic and emotional bond. We stand together as people – we have common future, we have to work together to achieve productivity,competition and delivery of GDP”. ...

Today Chairman Tihomir Kamenov expects to receive a response to his question to President Donald Trump, published on his Twitter profile: “President Trump, (we met 20 years ago) now, after one year in power, America is great again – safe and prosperous. (In the circumstances) When, Mr. President, and how we, together with Europe, will be great and greater? Delivering on Friday a non-cryptic answer to this question, Mr. President, will make you truly and highly respected internationally long term.” As expected, the question provoked widespread interest among the record number of participants in the forum.
