In Twitter Kamenov asked a number of questions to the President of China and Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping. The questions are expected to provoke widespread interest at the forthcoming Forum.   Read a complete English translation of the article here below: A Bulgarian businessman for the 13th time at the World Economic Forum in Davos The businessman Tihomir Kamenov is the only Bulgarian who for the 13th consecutive year has been invited to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. His very first invitation to join the Forum was given in 2004 in Warsaw, on the occasion of the accession of the first ten Eastern and Central European countries to the EU. Tihomir Kamenov told the media that he has already prepared questions to the President of China and Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping. According to him, the questions are expected to provoke widespread interest at the forthcoming Forum, where the Chinese leader is also expected to take part (original questions see above). The World Economic Forum is an international nongovernmental organization founded by the professor of economy Klaus Schwab in 1971. Each year during the event take place gatherings of the world's most prominent business and political leaders, intellectuals and journalists to discuss current global affairs and seek solutions together. The president of the corporate group of Commercial League, Mr. Tihomir Kamenov, will participate in the 42nd edition of the Ambrosetti Forum - a prestigious annual international economic conference, held in the Italian town of Cernobbio, on the shores of Lake Como. Since its inception in 1975, the Forum has brought together world leaders - heads of state, ministers, Nobel laureates and businessmen to discuss current challenges to the world’s economies and societies.  For the third consecutive year, the University of Pennsylvania has defined the event as the most important private think tank in Italy and the fourth in Europe. Traditionally the world leaders are expected to present exclusive reports and strategic analyses. Among the distinguished speakers this year are the Nobel prize winner and renowned Israeli statesman Shimon Peres, the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Günther Oettinger, the president  of the European Central Bank until 2011 Jean-Claude Trichet, Prince Turki al-Faisal of Saudi Arabia and many others. 26 Jan “The Bulgarian capital market is small, but stable,” – said Chairman Kamenov live from the World Economic Forum in Davos

The interest in investing in Bulgaria, unfortunately, is not very big, but it is one of my personal missions to change this, stressed Kamenov In an interview with Bloomberg Bulgaria, the Chairman of Commercial League Tihomir Kamenov said that the Forum has one unique advantage – the spirit of Davos. This is a place for discussing development concepts and creating invaluable informal connections. It is therefore important the country’s Prime Minister to attend, no matter who he/she is, then the level of discussions will be high and much can be achieved for the country. Unfortunately, this hasn’t happened yet. "The participation of Bulgaria is beneficial to the national economy – it is important for our place in the world, for our full integration into the EU, for understanding the new challenges and threats, and mostly – for the people in Bulgaria – because my work as well is mainly in the sector of health and saving people’s lives”, further commented Kamenov. Currently, programs for digitalisation of different sectors are running – this is one of the major tasks for Europe. Another big task is the programs that are being created now. According to Kamenov, it is essential to increase productivity and competitiveness. Is the digital revolution a positive or negative phenomenon for medicine? The Chairman of Commercial League commented exclusively on this and other topics from the World Economic Forum in Davos Tihomir Kamenov said that the most valuable part of such forums is the mutual spirit, the desire to seek and find modern solutions. "We maintain excellent collaborative relationships with the Cleveland Clinic (Ohio), the Ospedale Niguarda in Milan, and the Texas Heart Institute. By the end of the year we will open in Pleven – the leading university medical centre in the country, the fourth in Europe and the first in Eastern Europe robotic cardiac surgery.
