The expert suggested holding a referendum on the island’s self-determination. Already on Sunday, 18 January, in discussions with representatives of delegations in Davos, Tihomir Kamenov came forward with a proposal to resolve the dispute over Greenland, which is currently creating significant tension among allies. Businessman Kamenov is the only Bulgarian representative at the forum in Switzerland outside the official Bulgarian delegation. He knows President Trump personally and holds influence in these international circles. Kamenov proposed organizing a referendum on Greenland’s self-determination, with the United States announcing that if Greenland were to join the U.S. under the principle of self-determination, all local residents would receive $1 million each. It was revealed today that President Trump has adopted exactly this position in his plans and has tasked US secretary of the treasury Scott Bessent with preparing it, as negotiations with the Danish government are currently not progressing. We recall that two days before the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, on the day Russia recognized the independence of the two eastern Ukrainian provinces, Kamenov predicted to Epicenter.bg that Ukraine could only have a “Korean solution,” i.e., a division between its eastern and western parts. Today, this appears to be the only path to peace....

For yet another year, Tihomir Kamenov, Chairman of the Commercial League Group, is the only Bulgarian and a long-standing member of the World Economic Forum in Davos. He has also been invited to the special dinner hosted by President Trump on the opening day. A defining feature among both the topics discussed and the attendees is division and confrontation—the polarization of nearly all democratic societies. As Vice-Chair of the Forum’s Anti-Corruption Commission, Kamenov emphasized:“Democratic values must be upheld regardless of all coercive and non-coercive factors. Corruption has never left Bulgaria; no one has been removed from the Magnitsky list. Rather, I am not sure the list will not be expanded instead of shortened,” Kamenov predicted, adding that Vladislav Goranov continues to run rampant and to exercise administrative repression against a number of businesses in Bulgaria through his proxies. “The entire state cannot be parceled out - this is a captured state, this is the deep state. We give a ministry to one party and it rules arbitrarily; we give a regulator to another - yet is the law being observed? Justice is slow, and administrative repression is in charge. What investments, what growth are we expecting?”, Kamenov concluded....

An analysis of the country's pharmaceutical market shows that drug wholesaler Commercial League - Global Pharmacy Center is among the top companies in the sector. The company distributes not only the medicines of the pharmaceutical group "Tchaikapharma - High Quality Medicines", but also those from companies external to the group. "Commercial League" continued its investment program, and in 2023, we started the construction of three centers of clinical excellence, ,Heart and Brain’, in the cities of Burgas (new wing ,Mama and I’), Stara Zagora , and Vraza. Another five hospitals and medical centers are in the design and construction readiness phase, " commented Takvor Boghossian, CEO of Commercial League. He attributes the company's double-digit growth to an increase in prescription drug sales. In addition, the company has begun developing and distributing nutritional supplements, as well as aids and devices for the country's sanitary stores. "In order to meet the new requirements, significant investments have been made in the infrastructure and equipment of the existing production lines to further ensure the safety of the medicines produced", says Eng.
