The World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters begins on January 24 and will be open until the end of the week – Sunday, January 29th.

During the last eight years, only one Bulgarian has been invited to participate in the renowned forum and to represent our country in Davos. Tihomir Kamenov is the founder and chairman of the Supervisory board of Commercial League – Neo Pharma business group (www.comleague.com). After graduating from the Law School at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, he specialized in International Law in The Hague, at Leiden University, and at the International Committee of the Red Cross in Genève, the Max Planck Institute of the Heidelberg University, Cambridge University’s Centre for International Law, and others. In 2004, he received an invitation for the commemorative event for the accession of ten Eastern and Central European countries to the EU personally by the Economic Forum’s founder, Professor Klaus Schwab.

At this year’s Annual Meeting, the discussion will be about The Great Transformation: Shaping New Models. The main topic will be the vision of the future. All leaders of the world economy will present at the event, focusing their attention on the decisions and the ideas relating to this vision. In the centre of the talks will be the transformation of the world economy in the short term – the way in which the developed countries will reduce the loan capital in favor of the organic such, without causing a new recession. Another topic will be methods of controlling the inflation of the fast developing countries in order to avoid eventual economic bubbles. Unseen before changes in the social values, resource needs and technological advances are expected as a result of this meeting.
