In accordance with these priorities and in our pursuit of constant improvement, we annually organize and take part in numerous charity campaigns, regularly donate to hospitals, orphanages and senior citizen homes. (See the History of Commercial League)
We fund and organize scientific symposia and congresses, wholly organized by us or in collaboration with scientific societies.
We finance long-term education programs for young talented people locally and abroad, especially in the field of healthcare – giving grants to physicians for specializations in the Czech Republic, Italy, France, etc.
We build and help with the management of many hospitals throughout the country. We attract specialists from across Europe and the USA both for incidental and long-term consultancy. This drastic improvement in hospital practices and facilities has markedly improved the accessibility to quality healthcare for the entire population.
We introduce the latest medical research in oncology which, until recently, was not available in Bulgaria. We do this in collaboration with leading European and American institutions and thus help bring more accurate diagnoses and prognoses and prescribe the most adequate treatment for each patient.
We are constantly improving our practices for the collection, storage and disposal of waste, going beyond the requirements and above world standards.
In addition to our other initiatives, we invest in historical projects. In cooperation with Tchaikapharma, we have funded and organized the construction of two war monuments in Bulgaria, which have garnered wide appreciation by the public and the endorsement of local mayors and national government.
